Kieren winces at the injection as he's always prone to do. No matter how many times he's received this shot, it always stings, but he also looks forward to it because it's about the only thing he really does feel. He takes the injector back, offering a tremulous and grateful smile. "Thanks," he says, a touch uncertain about being in public (even in this reduced capacity) looking as he does.
