"Just after I woke up this morning," he says, voice low and quiet. "I couldn't stop shaking and that's when the blood started. I just sort of kept bleeding more and more, which is when I started to walk away from here. I was looking for some place that felt safe and I knew I had to get away from town, in case I was turning rabid again."
