Grateful to have something to do, Sirius is instantly on his feet once more, and he grabs the kettle and starts filling it from the faucet before placing it on the stove. It's not his instinct to do this the Muggle way, but he has a feeling Kieren will appreciate the effort at the moment and it does give him something to focus on.
