Kieren turns to look at Sirius when he speaks about being happy to come back, because the problem is that Sirius is right. He would like to come back, but he also doesn't want to do it at the expense of Sirius and his relationship, because they've been together for a long time, they live together, he loves him.

He really loves him. "Stop," is all he says, hushed as he reaches out to squeeze Sirius' hand to try and get him to stop talking about his future in Roarton. Despite the progress he's made on the food, he suddenly feels his appetite is slowly draining away from him. "Mum, I think maybe I want to go back and lie down," he says. "Today's been a bit much."

Sue looks worried, but she clearly doesn't want to argue. "Whatever you feel is best, Kier. Just, don't run away too soon," she pleads, looking a touch desperate.
