Kieren does as Sirius says. Closing his eyes, the whole world sort of goes into a hush, but when he focuses on certain things, he can feel them. At the tips of his fingers, he feels fabric. He can sort of feel the temperature in the room. If he focuses hard enough, he can even taste something in the air, like the general bit of the room and he can smell it too.

"So far, so good," he reports, eagerly. "Maybe let's try a little more?"
