"I think the whole thing might be too morbid," he admits, "and I think destroying it all will make me regret it. But a piece? Just a piece, then I might be able to give myself a way to remember not to make the same mistakes again," Kieren says, his voice soft with a thread of strength behind each word. After all, he knows he's not going to be that weak again. For one, he's getting older now. Surely that means he's also getting wiser.
