Kieren blinks a little, still surprised whenever Sirius suddenly goes from dog to human. He keeps trying to see it better, maybe get some idea about how it works, but he never seems to catch it. Instead, he just adjusts and slowly levers himself down until his cheek is on Sirius' knee, folded up in his lap as best as he can be.

"It's not like I asked for this to come here," he points out. "Maybe this place thinks I don't need to forget."
