Kieren gives Sirius a disbelieving look, tired and panicked, but not so much of either of those things that he's ready to let Sirius imply that he'd just sat there not doing anything. "I wasn't trying to get hurt, I was in an alley, I got cornered," is his huffy response, glaring at him. "So what if it had bitten me? Then I'd call you, you'd just pop me to a hospital or something like that."
