Kieren's sure that he doesn't want to be seeing the lumbering stone every time he enters and leaves his home, but he's also not sure what getting rid of it does. "Could you break it into pieces?" he asks, suddenly. It wouldn't be such a bad thing, he thinks, if he could have just a piece of his grave to use as a sort of garden ornament or a piece of modern art.
